In the mid-20th century, Arthur Hollins was way ahead of his time believing organic was best for the land and best for taste. People flocked to eat at his farm restaurant and Harrods couldn’t buy enough of his organic yoghurt.

But always in the background lurked ‘the officials’, too shortsighted and bureaucratic to understand Arthur’s way.

Arthur tells of his struggle for Fordhall Farm. The story is brought up-to-date by his family Connie, Ben and Charlotte who conducted the final high-profile ‘Battle for Fordhall Farm’ – a campaign supported by Prince Charles, Sting and many others.
